9th Nov We celebrated Ruth & Cameron Nixon.
Ruth has been a long standing teacher at Yuleba State School.Due to unfortunate circumstances, Ruth & Cameron are leaving the district. Ruth has been a great inspiration to students, teachers and parents and has worked tireless for the school and school community in her years here. Ruth will still be positioned at the school until she can get an appropriate transfer closer to her new home. The whole of the Yuleba community would like to say `thank you’ to Ruth and Cameron and know that you are greatly appreciated and will be terribly missed.

23rd Nov Yuleba Twilight Markets and Carols by Candlelight
The event ended being held in the memorial hall due to rain. It was well attended with the BBQ and bar doing a roaring trade. Seems most people were too shy to sing the carols but others traveled all the way from Roma and Noonga to sing along. Songstress Tammy Bell led the singing on the night with a beautiful solo of her rendition of `When a Child was Born’.
Already the plan is to hold the same event next year on the 29th November 2014.
Once again we will attempt to hold it as a street party – not that we don’t enjoy the much needed rain!
All funds raised goes towards building a ramp for St Andrew’s Anglican Church
The St Andrew’s Anglican Guild would like to thank :- Tammy & Jason Bell; Penny Howland & Bob; Tammy & Dane from Yuleba General Store; Pam from the Yuleba Roadhouse; The Maranoa Regional Council; The Western Star Newspaper; Lucy Killip & Karin-ane King; Les Yates & Sylvia Wilson-Kuhbauch; Judy Harland; Woolworth and shift manager Heath; Stall Holders; Guild members: Paul & Beryl Masson, Beryl Langton, Dawn White, Karan Hibbs & Florence McLennan; along with other volunteers; everyone who supported the event and the clean up crew on Sunday including George White.
